Dear backers,
if you are interested in proofreading or just drop some comments about the rules of 1840 - I uploaded them in a google drive folder together with a picture of the map and the share price board. If you send me an email to [email protected] then I can share the folder with you. Any comments are welcome. Deadline is Sunday, July 5th.

Dear backers,
you all should have got the email with an invitation to the pledge manager right now.
As add-on I offer not only my previous games in perfect condition but some copies of 18CZ and 1824 with box damages (due to bad shipping) at a reduced price.
And I may announce that I decided to add a share board (called "Share Pool") although the stretch goal wasn't unlocked.

Survey will soon be sent out

Dear backers,
the setup for the survey is finished.
Today I will start the "smoke test". It means that the survey will be sent to 5% of backers across all pledge levels. It is designed to help me catch any errors or pain points in my survey before it is sent out to the backers in full.
You will get an email from backerkit.com. It guides you to a website to alter your pledges, choose additional items, personalize what you bought and type in your shipping address.

SPIEL 2020 postponed to 2021

Dear backers,
as I was informed today the game fair in Essen, Germany, won't be held this year due to the Covid-19 crises. The new date for SPIEL will be from October 14th to October 17th 2021 at Messe Essen.
So unfortunately I can't offer "Essen pickup" for 1840 (unless you want to wait until October 2021). The survey will soon be sent out, please give me a couple of days to set it up.

Dear backers,
thank you very, very much for your support. Another 18xx game comes into reality. I am very happy that this campaign was successfull during a time of severe global pandemic.
I am glad to announce that the game comes with the 3-player map, the 2-player overlay, paper money, a revenue track board, and the wooden tokens.
In approximately two weeks I will launch the Pledge Manager. You will receive an email with a link to a website where you will be asked to confirm your shipping address. You may also add additional games I offer.
So for now, I say a whole-hearted Thank you and stay safe.
